Grana Pizza Cafe

Living in New Jersey, we have had our fair share of “the best” pizza around. We hate to say it, but nothing beats NJ pizza – nothing! We were so excited when we were given the opportunity to partner with a local restaurant – Grana Pizza Cafe – a goto local family establishment known for their award winning pizzas, homemade pastas and family style entrees.

We cannot say enough good things about our dinner at Grana Pizza Cafe. The owner greeted us as soon as we walked through the door and made sure we were taken care of right away. He quickly seated us and had bread waiting for us – major bonus points for us!

Our appetizers were out almost before we finished ordering them! Now how is that for fast service? We decided to go with the hot antipasto to try a little bit of everything – a medley of eggplant fries, fried zucchini, mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings. We also ordered some garlic knots for the table – because who doesn’t love garlic knots?

And just when we thought our appetizers were served impressively quick – our dinner came out even faster! We were in awe of the service at Grana! The appetizers were delicious so y’all can be sure we were more than excited to dig in on our entrees. We all decided to go with chicken dishes – chicken parmigiana, chicken piccata and chicken francaise. All entrees were served with a side of pasta – we were in heaven!

We also ordered two pizzas for the table – you cannot visit Grana Pizza Cafe without ordering their award winning pizzas right? One vodka pizza and one pepperoni pizza – the pictures do not do them justice on just how amazing they tasted! Give Grana Pizza Cafe ALL the awards!

The kiddos shared an order of macaroni and cheese with a plain slice of pizza each! They were so excited – they LOVE pizza and the macaroni and cheese was a big hit!

Next up, dessert! There is always room for dessert! The boys had the cutest dessert ever – the Kid’s Bear – I mean COME ON! Shayla and Nick had cannolis, Chris ordered a cappuccino and Katie of course ordered a scoop of vanilla ice cream –  total plain Jane, we are working on her branching out, maybe one day!

If you thought Grana couldn’t get any better – they have two party rooms, holding up to 130 people! They also offer food packages, linens, room layout and decoration – they have it all! We are even thinking about hosting a blogger event here in the winter!

Like we said earlier, we cannot say enough good things about Grana Pizza Cafe. If you are ever in Monmouth County and are looking for a new dining spot that’s delicious and affordable – Grana Pizza Cafe will do the trick!

Xoxo
