Unionville Vineyards

(Our final stop on The Winemakers NJ Co-Op winery tour)

How is this our fifth and final stop on the NJ Co-OP winery tour? We blinked and just like that – we have concluded our estate fine wine experience. Before we get all sad about it coming to an end, let’s recap our visit!

This past weekend we had the pleasure of visiting Unionville Vineyards in Ringoes, New Jersey. Sitting on 88 acres, this beautiful piece of land strives to preserve its farmland here in the Garden State.

Unionville Vineyards is a collection of four farms with over 300 acres committed to growing the finest grapes. Today, the vineyard has over 40 acres of vine stock under cultivation. The dedicated team manages and sources their grapes from six vineyards, spread across three New Jersey counties: Home Hilltop Vineyard, Amwell Ridge Vineyard, Pheasant Hill Chardonnay Vineyard and Pheasant Hill Upper Vineyard.

We couldn’t have visited on a better day- the weather absolutely perfect: the sky a pretty shade of blue, the sun shining – What else could we possibly ask for to conclude our lovely tour? Jay Quilty, Sales Representative at Unionville was nice enough to pour us some estate wine and give us a little history on the vineyard in the tasting room – which overlooked where the fermentation process took place.

After we sipped on some delicious wine and snacked on a variety of cheeses, we headed outside to take a peak inside where the aged wine was kept in barrels. Thank you Jay for showing us the behind-the-scenes wine making process! It was the highlight of our trip.

We were also given a tour of their multiple venue spaces – each one more gorgeous the next! If you are looking to host an event, Unionville is your go-to! They even have an exclusive catering agreement with Fenwick Catering and Events of Princeton. Make sure to book your next event at Unionville

We had a wonderful afternoon at Unionville Vineyards. Everything from the wine, the company, the weather, the location – It was the perfect way to end our tour. We cannot say enough good things about our experience working with The Winemakers NJ Co-Op these past several months. A huge thank you to John Cifelli for sharing your wine and hospitality with us blogger babes. We have had the time of our lives sipping on some fine wine and learning about what it takes to run such successful wineries.

We will be back at Beneduce Vineyards for the Fall Portfolio Tasting on September 22nd from 1-5pm! Make sure to get your tickets now – you will NOT want to miss this lovely event.

Xoxo –
